Eritrean-Swede Tesfaldet Tekie: The engine behind Eredivisie Fortuna Sittard will transfer in 2022.

The Eredivisie the premier league of Holland has been one of the best for up and coming stars. It also serves for some as a great place to make a career. The great Alexander Isak made a great debut there when he had an incredible season with Willem 2, It is also to be recalled that Eritrean-Dutch Hennos Asmelash started his youth career and professional careers with this great league. Currently Eritrean Swede Paulos Abraham also plays for FC Gronigen and Eritrean-Swede Tesfaldet Tekie signed with Fortuna Sittard in 2019. Tekie who came over to this club after being tossed around by Belgian side Gent was on loan with Swedish team Ostersund until this 2019. However, once Gent decided to call him up he never caught the attention of the Belgians. Tesfaldet is a brilliant midfielder made his debut for the Swedish National team on 11 January 2019 in a friendly against Iceland as a starter. So Technically, like Golgol Mebrhatu if he so desires and is convinced by the many other international star players like Ezana Kahsay, Mohamed Saeid, etc… Chances are he may end up playing for Eritrea. Eri-Intlsports.org will follow Tesfaldet Tekie.

The 24-year-old midfielder left the Belgian side Gent after his contract there expired. He has been playing a great role in midfield with his club Fortuna Sittard currently in the middle standing in the Dutch top tier. Tesfaldet has scored some world class goals, but he is a work horse that has been able to distribute the ball with a lot of finesse. After 4 years with Fortuna Sittard Tes is looking for new challenges and his agent has assured some reliable sources that Tesfaldet is being highly touted by some big teams. He is going to be an asset for any team as his work ethic and skill level is very high class.

He is on the radar for Team Eritrea and he would definitely make a huge impact if things worked out. Eri-intlsports wishes Tesfaldet all the best for the upcoming 2022-23 season and hope he gets to play for Eritrea.
